TYPE B FIBCs, also known as Type B Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers, are widely used in industries that require the transportation and storage of dry, combustible materials.
Type B FIBCs are similar to Type A FIBC in that they are made from plain polypropylene or other non-conductive
material. And like Type A bulk bags, Type B bulk bags do not have any mechanism for dissipating static electricity. The difference is that Type B bulk bags are made from materials that have a low breakdown voltage to prevent the occurrence of highly energetic, and dangerous propagating brush discharges (PBD).
TYPE B FIBCs are available in various sizes and configurations to meet different customer requirements. They can be equipped with features such as lifting loops, discharge spouts, and filling spouts, facilitating easy handling and efficient loading and unloading operations.
Safety Use for Type B FIBCs:
· To transport dry, flammable powders
· No flammable solvents or gases present are closely to the bags
Do NOT use for:
· If there are flammable solvents or gases present are closely to the bags
